Grotto’s structural novelty is its homepage collection grid: a genuine salon-hang — irregular image sizes, small deliberate rotations, uneven gutters — the way 19th-century academy exhibitions actually hung work, rather than the uniform CSS grid every other portfolio theme defaults to. It reads as curated and human instead of templated.
Built for project spaces and small galleries showing figurative and abstract work, with paired Artist/Exhibition content types so a show’s checklist and its artist bios stay properly linked rather than living in two disconnected post types.
