Emberline is built on warm charcoal rather than the cold near-blacks used elsewhere in this catalogue’s dark themes — a deliberate choice, since a glassblowing hot shop’s actual palette is warm: molten amber and ember-orange are reserved as glow accents on key moments (a piece reveal, a call to action) rather than smeared across the whole page. Bricolage Grotesque, a genuine variable font, lets display type widen and narrow the way molten glass itself stretches.
A Piece/Collection content-type structure lets a working hot shop show finished work alongside workshop and class offerings, matching how glassblowing studios actually run — half gallery, half working school.
