Highlights

  • A genuinely cutting-edge stack — the line’s first real-time WebGPU compute pipeline and first Gaussian Splatting render, both running live in the browser
  • Signature real-time Gaussian Splatting hero — a genuine trained splat scene (191K points, self-authored ceramic form, drag to orbit)
  • WebGPU compute-shader point-cloud assembly — ~9,000 raw scan points spring-assemble into a finished vessel via a persistent GPU storage buffer, not a stateless shader lerp, with a proven WebGL fallback
  • Interactive raw / mesh / textured fidelity-comparison widget with scan-line crossfade; Capture-project CPT for a volumetric-capture / digital-twin studio on a dark technical palette

Overview

Voluma is built for volumetric-capture and digital-twin studios — the people who scan a museum gallery, a listed facade or a factory floor and hand the client something they can walk through. Its hero is a real-time Gaussian Splatting scene rendered in WebGL, not a video of one: the visitor orbits an actual trained splat cloud, with no plugin and no external viewer. That matters commercially, because a capture studio selling fidelity cannot credibly demonstrate it with a compressed screen recording.

Behind the hero sits a WebGPU compute-shader sequence that assembles a point cloud from storage buffers, with a proven WebGL fallback for machines that lack WebGPU, and an interactive fidelity widget that switches a single subject between raw splat, meshed and textured so a prospect can see exactly what each service tier buys them. Content is organised around a Capture Project post type and an Industries taxonomy covering museums, real estate, e-commerce, film and VFX, and industrial-facility work, with an AJAX booking flow for scan enquiries.
