Overview
A grand, GPU-driven theme for a semiconductor design and fabrication house — deep indigo-blue and near-black, with an ion-cyan and violet accent system that shifts as you move from mature to frontier process nodes. Built for a genre this portfolio hadn’t touched yet: chips, not chemistry or ceramics.
The signature is a real Three.js 3D chip-package viewer — die, substrate, bond-wire pins and a semi-transparent heatsink lid — rendered with post-processing bloom on a procedural thin-film-interference backdrop. Drag to turn it, and on the homepage, six process-node dots rebuild the die live: colour, roughness, metalness, circuit-trace density and bloom strength all change per node, from a coarse 3×3 grid at 28nm to a dense glowing 10×10 grid at the 2nm frontier. Single chip pages get their own viewer bound to that part’s actual node. A GSAP ScrollTrigger pinned horizontal reel walks the fabrication process — ingot, wafer, lithography, etch, dope, package, test — and Lenis drives smooth scroll site-wide, with a circuit-trace ambient canvas running behind every page, not just the hero.
A Chip post type with a Process Node taxonomy runs the lineup — eight parts from a PMIC to a training accelerator, each with real specs (cores, package, power, die size) — plus an engineering Journal and an RFQ contact form.
