Overview
Kestrel is the English-language sibling of NeoChem 3D, rebuilt with its own invented brand (no reused client name or logo) so it can stand on its own in the catalogue. The signature moment is a genuine volumetric-cloud raymarching hero: the camera descends through real light-scattering, self-shadowed clouds (Henyey-Greenstein phase function, Beer’s-law attenuation) and breaks through onto a real aerial photograph, with six neon hotspots pinned to actual structures via cover-fit coordinate math rather than floating pins.
Every ambient panel — the brand bar, info card, legend, hotspot tags — uses a genuine crystal-glass material (four distinct edge highlights simulating light through real glass thickness, plus a cool inner glow) instead of a flat frosted rectangle, and the footer runs a real-time WebGL Gerstner-wave water surface doing a per-pixel line-of-sight/water intersection, not a looping background video.
